0.25 % palladium on alumina (K-0276) catalyst consists of alumina spheres with a low surface area. The catalyst is used in many areas of gas cleaning and hydrogenation reactions e.g., in gas cleaning in moist gases and in the hydrogenation of double bonds. The catalyst is available with different loadings. After use, the spent catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling of the valuable precious metals.
