2 % palladium on alumina silicate (K-0290 N WR) catalyst is based on a special aluminum oxide silica carrier. The palladium is present in the reduced form. The application achieves a high process efficiency in the anthraquinone process for the production of hydrogen peroxide. The catalyst is available with different loadings. After use, the spent catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling of the valuable precious metals.
