0.2 % platinum on alumina (K-0152-02) catalyst consists of an alumina carrier with a large surface. The catalyst is used in the removal of organic substances. Using it, H₂ removals from N₂ flows, VOC reductions, H₂ / CO removals from the air as well as CO₂ cleaning can be carried out. The catalyst type is available with different Pt concentrations from 0.1 to 0.5 % by weight. After use, the spent catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling of the valuable precious metals. The catalyst has an extended lifetime.
