0.1 % platinum on alumina (K-0157-01) catalyst consists of an alumina carrier with a large surface. The catalyst is used in the removal of organic substances. Using it, H₂ removals from N₂ flows, VOC reductions, H₂ / CO removals from the air as well as CO₂ cleaning can be carried out. After use, the spent catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling of the valuable precious metals.
