Benefits and Applications

K-02141 is a Pd catalyst on an aluminum oxide support with a moderate surface area. The catalyst is used for a variety of applications in heterogeneous gas phase catalysis. It serves as a catalyst for the production of high-purity gases like N₂, CO₂, O₂ or noble gases e.g for the removal of oxygen, hydrogen or methane and is especially suited for the direct decomposition of N₂ O. The Pd catalyst is available with different loadings and has a high long-term stability. After use, the spent catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling of the valuable precious metals.
