2 % ruthenium on aluminum oxide (K-04502) catalyst consists of an aluminum oxide carrier with a high surface area. The catalyst is used in many areas like (selective) hydrogenations, (selective) methanation as well as the ammonia cracking. The catalyst is available with different loadings. After use, the catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling the most valuable precious metals.
