Benefits and Applications

The palladium, 0.25% on alumina (K-0276-025) catalyst consists of an alumina support with a low surface area. The catalyst is used in many areas of gas cleaning and hydrogenation reactions, e.g. in gas cleaning in moist gases and in the hydrogenation of double bonds. The catalyst can be purchased in various Pd concentrations of 0.1-0.35% by weight. After use, the palladium, 0.25% on aluminum oxide (K-0276-025) catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling the valuable precious metals it contains.
