0.15 % palladium; 0.15 % platinum on aluminum oxide (K-02120) is a bimetallic Pd/Pt catalyst on an aluminum oxide support. The Pd / Pt catalyst is used for VOC oxidation in exhaust gases from chemical plants as well as for the oxidation of all types of VOC, especially aromatics and oxygen-containing molecules. Another area of ​​application is the production of high-purity gases. The catalyst is available with different loadings. After use, the spent catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling of the valuable precious metals.
