Benefits and Applications

The platinum, 0.3% on alumina (K-0152-03) catalyst consists of an alumina carrier with a large surface. The catalyst is used in the removal of organic substances. Using it, H2 removals from N2 flows, VOC reductions, H2 / CO removals from the air as well as CO2 cleaning can be carried out. The catalyst type is available with different Pt concentrations from 0.1 to 0.5% by weight. After use, the platinum, 0.3% on aluminum oxide (K-0152-03) catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling the valuable precious metals it contains. The catalyst has an extended lifetime.
