Benefits and Applications

Palladium, 0.15%; Platinum, 0.15% on aluminum oxide (K-02131) is a platinum catalyst on an aluminum oxide support with a high surface area. The catalyst is used in the removal of organic substances and VOC reduction in process and exhaust gases, in the O2 removal from N2 streams and in CO2 cleaning. The platinum catalyst can be purchased in various Pt concentrations from 0.1 to 0.5% by weight. After use, the palladium, 0.15%; Platinum, 0.15% on aluminum oxide (K-02131) catalyst can be returned to Heraeus for recycling the valuable precious metals it contains.
